Last weekend, a dozen of my girlfriends and I gathered to celebrate a birthday, and since the planned activity of Goat Yoga (no, seriously, this is really a thing. See here, and here) was rained out, we decided on brunch. Brunch day fell not just on our friend’s birthday, but also on Royal Wedding day, so we did the obvious thing and dressed up for the occasion. I’m not sure why we don’t wear fascinators in this country, but we should. A bunch of the girls ordered some off of Amazon, while others improvised with feathers and clips from Michael’s.
Lesson learned from Royal Wedding day? Find any excuse to dress up! It was so much fun to see all the hats at our table in the middle of the restaurant, and it made the day memorable. Now, what to wear to goat yoga…
