I had a very exciting milestone happen recently – my Etsy shop hit 1000 sales! When I first started my shop, I was selling 3 printable gift tags and maybe a year or so later, i added 4 chunky hand knit hats. I wasn’t sure if I’d sell anything, to be honest. It wasn’t until I tried to really understand how Etsy works that I took the Etsy training class with The Merriweather Council and everything started to click. I added a bunch of new products (hello, mugs!) and things really took off with the introduction of the Galentine’s Day mug. It’s been our best seller the past three years in a row!
Now, I’m going to let you in on a little secret. There are going to be some big changes coming to the shop in the next few months. A lot of the mugs are going to be retired, and new handmade products will be coming in. All new art. all new repurposed clothing, a whole bunch of new stuff. I’m super excited about it and can’t wait to show you. There will be some sneak peeks coming up so stay tuned!
